Die geträumte Stadt (the dreamed city) is a 40 min German audio play composed of monologues, poems and field recordings, collected in the city of Basel, Switzerland in 2022 during a five month artist residency at the Stiftung Bartels Fondation.
Transient encounters, spontaneous observations and poetic reflections are interwoven throughout this audio collage. Motives, sounds and events from the city are loosely interconnected, and shape a public space that is equally retrospective and imaginative.
